Tests de laboratoire

La performance de nos soins cosméceutiques étant notre priorité, nous soumettons toutes nos formules à de nombreux tests cliniques et de laboratoire, afin de garantir leur efficacité et leur tolérance.

Testing of
laboratory

The Swissclinical Laboratory creates innovative products, resulting from scientific research and the intuition of our experts in aesthetic dermatology , to respond in a targeted manner to the specific needs of your skin and offer you the best anti-aging care. All our formulas must pass numerous and rigorous tests.

Stability

Stability tests guarantee that the product maintains its organoleptic and physico-chemical qualities over time, from the moment of manufacture to the last moment of its use. The Laboratory subjects the formulas to different temperature constraints (4, 42, 50 C°) , as well as to different levels of exposure to UV rays. This makes it possible to identify the ideal mode of preservation and packaging for each formula.

Microbiology

Microbiology tests evaluate the effectiveness of the formula's preservation system, to guarantee absolute microbial purity , from the moment of manufacture until the last moment of product use. These tests are carried out on 5 microbial strains (3 bacteria and 2 yeasts/molds) and are measured according to the international standard NF EN ISO 11930.

Compatibility

Compatibility tests verify that the formula is indeed compatible with its packaging under normal storage conditions, i.e. there is no physico-chemical interaction between the two, nor any alteration in stability. of the formula in the conditioning phase. They check that the packaging is able to protect the formula from the external environment.

Tolerance

Skin tolerance tests are carried out by "patch-test" on volunteers, by applying the product under a patch for 48 hours and the subsequent verification of the absence of any reaction. Ocular tolerance tests are carried out on cellular models representative of a human cornea to verify the absence of any inflammation.

Efficiency

The tests are carried out as closely as possible to real conditions, always passing through dermatological or ophthalmological control . Different testing techniques are used:

  • In vitro , in the laboratory at cellular and intracellular level;
  • Ex vivo , on human skin explants;
  • In vivo , on a panel of volunteers representative of the target.

Our test protocols are developed by a committee of experts to objectify the performance and support the claims of each of our cosmeceutical treatments. Clinical tests are based on reference techniques.
